Sometimes one good idea is enough. In 1981 Louise Woof built her "Woof Boot" in Cornwall, according to the company the first leg boot made of neoprene. A material that is light, flexible and still tough turned out to suit horse legs surprisingly well.
From idea to brand
The first prototype became Woof Wear. The team is still based in Cornwall, in the south west of England, and develops not only leg boots but also bell boots, wraps, pads and further accessories. Testing is done with riders, from leisure riders to professionals, and British police horses wear Woof Wear too.
What is behind it
Woof Wear relies on products that work in everyday life: practical, hard-wearing and easy to clean. New materials from other sports are happily tried out when they help horse and rider.
We carry Woof Wear in a wide selection. Take a look at the Woof Wear page or directly at our leg boots.
