Everyone knows the saying: no hoof, no horse. It is true. And the good news is: with a bit of routine you do a lot for healthy hooves.
Pick out daily
Pick out the hooves before and after riding. That way you spot stones, foreign objects or changes early. It is worth looking at the frog, sole and shoe.
Balance of moisture
Too wet is not good, too dry is not either. Hoof care can help keep the hoof supple, but does not replace a clean environment and regular appointments with the farrier or hoof trimmer.
Hoof polish for show day
When it is about the perfect appearance, hoof polish brings the final shine. After the show you can remove the polish again.
If something looks off
If your horse is lame, if the hoof is warm or smells, call your vet or farrier. You will find hoof care products and more in our care section.
