Underside antistatic, made of 100% natural shearling wool (WoolBack®).
The exchangeable Ortho-Impact® Inserts lie along the full length, left and right of the spine, and can be taken out easily via a hook-and-loop fastener. 
In addition, this pad has a total of 6 inner pockets that are already filled with 12 pieces of ¼" fleece.
These inner pockets can be filled as needed in case of asymmetric muscle development, building up from one side to the other or from front to back.
This Matrix western pad is therefore machine washable and dryer-safe!
A non-slip surface material (ETC ®), prevents friction and holds the saddle in place.

these shock-absorbing inserts are used in all areas of training, sport and of course in the leisure sector. Particularly suitable for horses with deficits in the back muscles, uneven muscle development or a saddle that temporarily does not fit properly. An ultra-light and ultra-thin high-density layer (5 mm), + a 12 mm open-cell foam layer (breathable) that absorbs 90% of the energy of all impacts. It protects the horse's back muscles from all effects the saddle and the rider can cause. It minimises the energy returned by the horse, so that even an inexperienced rider on an uncomfortable horse finds a seat that is gentle and safe for horse and rider. Inserts that compensate for all deficits in order to position the saddle optimally. Maximum cushioning without restricting freedom of movement.
