The Matrix saddle pad liners (schooling liners) complement the technical
features of the Matrix saddle pads and at the same time act as a dirt barrier
to keep the saddle pads clean. The underside of the schooling liner is made of
a non-slip, low-friction fabric (ETCYg™) that holds the saddle
and pad securely in position without restricting the horse's movement.
A thin membrane of mesh fabric forms a unit with the pad lying on top.
This combination prevents the liner from wrinkling
and ensures high breathability. Liner and pad
work together like a cross-quilted saddle cloth. The billets of the
Matrix saddle pads run through special slots in the liner (see picture below)
to create a secure and optimised unit. This way one saddle pad can be used
with different Matrix saddle pad liners for several horses
(e.g. in a riding school). Of course, this is why these liners are also
suitable for washing machines and dryers.
