The Competition-Pads from Matrix offer protection and support the horse's back muscles without restricting freedom of movement. The top of the pad has a hook-and-loop fastener so the Pro Impact protection inserts can be exchanged. The pockets are designed so that the horse's shoulder is not restricted in its movement. This saddle pad is an all-in-one pad that already comes with a "Pro Impact Ultra Light insert". The top material is a high-quality ETC™ material. ETC™ is a breathable, non-slip material that keeps the saddle in a secure position but at the same time causes no friction, thereby avoiding heat build-up. Maximum breathability and heat dissipation are ensured as well. Coolback® fleece is 100% polyester, originally developed as a sheepskin substitute in hospitals and then redesigned especially for the requirements of the horse. This orthopaedic fleece offers excellent pressure relief and even weight distribution as well as fast heat dissipation and breathability. The pads are super robust and of course machine washable and dryer-safe.

An ultra-light and ultra-thin high-density layer (5 mm) that absorbs 90% of the energy of all impacts. It protects the horse's back muscles from all effects the saddle and the rider can cause. It minimises the energy returned by the horse, so that even an inexperienced rider on an uncomfortable horse finds a seat that is gentle and safe for horse and rider. Maximum cushioning without restricting freedom of movement.
